Festival Pier can be found just outside the Royal Festival Hall on London’s busy South Bank. There is always something going on in this area where you can take in the street entertainment, enjoy street food, or sit in one of the many cafés, restaurants and bars to watch the world go by. Tourist attractions within easy walking distance of the pier include the National Theatre, British Film Institute, Haywood Gallery and Gabriel’s Wharf. There is also a large book market held in the shelter of Waterloo Bridge, where you can pick up lots of second-hand bargains.
