Greenwich Pier is well-placed for tourists hoping to explore the maritime area of Greenwich. As soon as you exit the pier, you’ll be greeted with the sight of the Cutty Sark, one of the last of the great tea clippers to be built. If you don’t fancy a tour of the ship, you’ve got many choices of things to do – Greenwich Market, the National Maritime Museum, the Old Royal Naval College, or Queen’s House, all in the same area. Or if you fancy a walk in the stunningly beautiful Greenwich Park, you could visit the Royal Observatory, home to the Greenwich Meridian Line … or just enjoy being in such a lovely green space even though you’re still in London!
